Anyone Awake is an indie rock band from Rigby, Idaho.
Formed in 2022 by lifelong friends Cassius Coleman and Sam Butterfield, the band consists of Cassius Coleman (vocals, guitar), Joseph DeSoto (lead guitar), Sam Butterfield (bass), and Seth Chamberlain (drums). Drawing from a wide range of influences while carving out a sound of their own, Anyone Awake combines heartfelt songwriting, energetic performances, and guitar-driven arrangements that explore nostalgia, heartbreak, hope, and the uncertainty that comes with growing up.
What began as local shows in eastern Idaho has steadily grown into a project reaching listeners across the country. Through a relentless DIY approach, the band has built a dedicated audience, surpassed one million streams across their catalog, and continued expanding far beyond the boundaries of their hometown.
In 2026, Anyone Awake is embarking on a self-booked 40 day national tour, their most ambitious undertaking to date. Organized entirely by the band and their team, the tour represents the same mindset that has defined Anyone Awake from the beginning: if there is an opportunity to build something meaningful, it is worth taking the risk.
The name Anyone Awake comes from a simple belief. Growing up in a small town, the band saw firsthand how easy it was for people to feel out of place for being different. Whether it was the music they listened to, the way they dressed, the things they cared about, or simply who they were, not everyone felt like they belonged.
Anyone Awake was created to be the opposite of that.
More than a band, Anyone Awake is an invitation.
